The Willminds Debate is not just another traditional debate. It’s an innovative intellectual sport, introducing a fresh and engaging way of exploring ideas and resolving complex issues. Throughout history, debates—from courtroom discussions to U.S. presidential face-offs—have proven themselves as platforms where crucial topics are examined from multiple perspectives before action is taken. However, while these formats have remained traditional, The Willminds Debate is revolutionizing how we integrate ideas, shape decisions, and inspire collective action. Much like TED Talks redefined how stories and ideas are shared, The Willminds Debate is innovating the debate process.
During DAW 2024, Willminds Mediation & Arbitration Center (WMAC) will be hosting this 55-minute structured debate to delve into the innovative and evolving processes of Med-Arb and Arb-Med, exploring their benefits, challenges, and ethical considerations, the negotiation and drafting of the agreements, the transitioning from mediation to arbitration and the inverse, and how arbitrators make decisions, award writing, and practical professional considerations in such cases.
Are these processes a wise choice when faced with a deadline? Or a straightforward mediation or arbitration process will often be sufficient to meet the needs?
Four prominent experts will advocate different perspectives, ensuring an engaging, insightful, and impactful discussion for our audience. With its global potential, The Willminds Debate can reach millions of people, stimulating dialogue that resonates worldwide.
