WMAC is thrilled to be a media partner for the first Russian International Arbitration Congress (RIAC), which will take place in Moscow on May 14 – 16, 2025. RIAC 2025 aims to bring together legal professionals, scholars, and practitioners from around the world to engage in thoughtful discussions on the evolving landscape of international arbitration.

The main conference of RIAC 2025 is the flagship event of the Congress, featuring world-renowned speakers. The aim of the conference is to seek answers to timeless questions of arbitration that remain relevant regardless of time, changes in legislation, or international affairs. Speakers will address complex (even philosophical) challenges that arise in real disputes: the limits of arbitrators' inherent powers, the relationship between national and international legal orders, the impact of imperative norms on arbitration, and the globalisation (or fragmentation) of the arbitration system.
During the RIAC 2025, you will also have the opportunity to attend more than 30 in-person events dedicated to alternative dispute resolution and meet legal practitioners and business representatives from different countries. RIAC Organizers have also scheduled a 30-minute break between events to allow attendees to move between venues. Please plan your route in advance to ensure that you don't miss the opportunity to attend all the Satellite events you are interested in.
